The Competition starts at 9am on Tuesday, September 2nd with the Doubles Class beginning fifty hours of competition. The one-hundred hour Team Class starts on Thursday with 3 & 4 person teams. Judging of the Doubles Class also takes place. On Friday, 5 & 6 person teams and all the Master Solos start to fill the beach. The 7 person teams start Saturday, September 6th. By that time, you will see all the finished Doubles, plus all the sculpture from the Tournament of Championships, plus all the Team and Solo works in progress. All entries will finish at 3 pm Sunday the 7th. Adult admission throughout the Competition is only $8.00 CDN (incl. tax) per day. Accompanied children under ages 13 are only $3.00 Accompanied children under ages 5 and under are free.

The Exhibition, A Beach Full of Finished Master Sand Sculptor's Work!

The Exhibition of World Championship sculpture and Tournament of Champions' sculpture is Western Canada's largest outdoor art show. It runs until at least October 19th, 2008. The gates are open from 8:30 'till dusk. Adult admission is only $8.00 CDN (incl. tax) per day. Accompanied children ages 5 - 13 are only $3.00. Accompanied children ages 5 and under are free. Student & senior admission is $7.00 CDN (incl. tax)
